Testimonials

Thank you. We had a wonderful time with Ron and Kathleen! They were – as you said – exceptionally fine people. Jack Blankenship was also a fellow we learned to love.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know them. It became a memory for life for my daughter Ragnhild and myself.  Ron and Kathleen made the experience even better than I had anticipated. I look forward to bringing my family along and visit them on another occasion. I’d like to send more people over to experience the same as we did. Later this month I will lecture at the largest sport horse organization in the area, show pictures and  tell about our visit to Montana. I expect many more will be interested in experiencing what we did.

I certainly understand that you decided to remain ‘over there’. A fantastic land that took my breath away.

Greetings,

Terje Nyen (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)

"I had an unforgettable and 'custom made' hunting adventure with Terje and Pål Hermansen (World Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award Winner) in January 2006 on the North Dakota prairie; good-natured and friendly people. On top of that, I came home with a massive bull," says Inge Vassbotten of Norway, who has the world record Asian Elk - shot in Kazakstan.

Buffalo Hunting

…good food….
Fantastic wilderness experience, awesome nature and fascinating wildlife, among other species, the buffalo.
Good friendships, and interesting for a foreigner to get a ‘feel’ for everyday America. The small group dynamics are unique.

When we decided to make a documentary about adventure/wilderness living – specifically about cowboys – we started feverishly searching…….

- Are there any real cowboys left?
- How do we find them?
- Where are they?

We had many questions, and it took time, something we didn’t have much of.
But then…we found out about Terje Ness!
Can’t remember exactly how, but this sounded promising – at least at a distance.
Swedish TV had even found a Norwegian – a real cowboy!……it sounded almost too good to be true.

It turned out to be a happy trip. Thanks, Terje! You took us under your wing and we got to experience so much ‘western’ during our two weeks together.
Today I realize that there are still real cowboys,  friendly and unbelievably insightful horsemen.
Nature was grand, the fellowship warm, and I realized my dream: I got to be cowboy for a spell!
I’ll be back!

….I have experienced the high desert with Terje Ness - on a good horse behind the herd – destined for the branding pen….in howling wind and scorching sun……
To experience the ranching culture during work and play are memories for life. The synergy, hospitality and helpfulness provide some of the best modeling I have ever had. In 2007 I will be on a good horse – behind a herd of bison, rifle in hand.
Want to experience this? Don’t ‘dillidally’ – pack your bag, pull on your boots and go!

“The dream was always there…..Terje met me at the airport……
What dimentions, the amazing light from the 180 degree skyline – no wonder it’s called ‘big sky country’. I’ll never forget it……..the ride was unforgettable. Not to mention the ride into the Indian Reservation together with Terje. The encounter with a foreign culture……wonderful rides and strong stories. There’s so much I’m grateful for.”

We had an unbelievable vacation which we couldn't get any other place. Unforgettable memories. We have a lot of video, which we often view. Some from our horseback rides, some from the rodeo. Somewhat unreal, yet all the better. Memories for life. Thanks again for an unforgettable vacation.
