Terje Ness has been a working cowboy in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, as well as in Montana, the Dakotas, Texas, and New Mexico for over 25 years.
His academic training is in psychotherapy, and has ridden with such horsemen as Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, Joe Wolter and others. Terje is also a graduate of the Minnesota School of Horseshoeing.
He has on several occasions been featured on European TV and media in exclusive documentaries about him as a working cowboy and horseman. He has also written articles in various publications. Terje has conducted clinics in both Canada and the U.S., as well as in Europe.
This combination of understanding people and horses, makes him suited for productive and insightful coaching. Terje will work with clients, shoeing and training their horses. More importantly, he will coach the horse owners and teach them how to have a more harmonious relationship with their horses.
Terje imported and registered in Norway the country's first American Quarter Horse, the stallion Fox Eyed King. He has since sold several quarterhorses to Norway.
